I was born in Bobcaygeon and lived there until 1989. Grew up on the family farm just north of the Village and have a lot of great memories.
I still have a little cabin in the woods near Tyes Mountain. The snowmobile club has a trail that goes past our door. The Twin Mountains Snowmobile Club was named for Tyes Mountain and Green Mountain. I was part of the group that organized the club in Garnet Harrison's garage. The club has been kind enough mention us all in the Trail of Memories Section.
Bobcaygeon is a great place to head off on adventures whether it be boating, fishing, smowmobiling or my favourite dirt biking. Check out the links to dirt biking under Lifestyles.
It's amazing but whenever I mention Bobcaygeon it seems that someone has a story about some great time they had there at somone's cottage or their uncle lives there etc. If you have never visited then you need to put that on your gotta do list.
If you are considering a cottage or a permanent move to a year round home I would be pleased to assist you.
